Firstly, I bought 3 packs of 10 dual-layer 8x DVD+Rs last week, which turn out to be incompatible with my drive. Scan will take the 2 unopened packs back, but not the opened one (despite all 10 disks being un-burned and the packaging intact, all I've done is remove the shrinkwrap).

Anyone got a DL burner and want a gift of them?

I got home a few hours ago, and when I put my key into the outer door (I have an outer metal security door that opens outwards and an inner 'normal' wooden door that opens inwards) the door 'clicked' as though the lock engaged. The wonderful guys at Penny Arcade (my favourite webcomic) have been running a charity event for the last 4 years, where they collect cash and donations of books/games (mostly the donations) and give them to childrens hospitals, so that kids there have games to play ( Read more... )
