First, thanks to everyone who offered condolences on my grandmother's passing. She was a great lady and I was the favorite grandson so this granparent passing has affected me more than the others. My mom just called. My grandma died.

I am so happy that randomcub and I got to see her just a few weeks ago. I kind of suspected it would be the last time I saw her, but I didn't think it would be this quick. Last weekend my mom called to tell me that my Grandma in LA is starting hospice care. They discovered a tumour in her lung about 6 months ago and it has been getting harder for her to breathe. Well, I think I got my wish. Work is anything but boring right now. I think I am adjusting to my new role as Director of IT pretty well and am trying to be a better boss by applying some of the things I learned when told I was "not a good boss" a couple of years ago.
