My office smells like smoke from the auto shop again. It's a lovely combo of burning rubber and unidentified ashiness. Bleh. So, I started today by missing a mandatory meeting in homeroom that occurs every wednesday. I have made the monumental error of discovering a vending machine literally within about 5 steps of my office. So, we went on the trip to Job Corp - but were delayed a bit by it being senior picture day and the photograper was late. So, rather than being there by 10:00 we got there at 10:02. No problem right? So, it was a good weekend with the noteable exception of poor adrian still working on mortgage stuff for the condo closing on tuesday. I feel bad that there is nothing I can do to help except try to distract him from it - which is rather counterproductive much of the time. That said - Tuesday is tomorrow so yay! I am suddenly feeling about 4 inches tall. For the last hour and a half I have been pouring through the bookshelf in my office - and am still not done evaluating what stays and what is too outdated, etc. The conclusion I am rapidly reaching is that my predecessor has read _every one_ of the books on that shelf.
