What a beautiful spring we have had!!!  This weekend was pretty darn perfect.  Mostly sunny skies, warm, flowers everywhere.  Yesterday the family got together in the old orchard for the annual blossom party (basically a picnic under the pink apple blossoms).  My aunt made some fabulous onion pies, we ate tons of asparagus, cheese, and small ham ( Read more... )

So this morning I headed up to Madison for a little shopping.  The Madison Area Mothers of Multiples has a huge "garage" sale in the spring and fall, and today was the spring day.  One of A's co-workers had triplets (can't even imagine) and his wife is a member, and she let me know of the event.   So well organized, and so much better than going to ( Read more... )

After the swapping of the girls after work I decided that this warm sunny day should not be wasted.  Plus there was a going away party for 2 co-workers at 6:30, so if I could kill 4+ hrs I could drop by, w/o an extra 1:15 in the car (which I wouldn't have done, so I would have missed the party.  So we headed across town to the zoo, and everywhere ( Read more... )

So I got out of work early today and since I didn't have the girls I headed downtown along Lake Monona.
