This little guy has been a frequent visitor lately. S/he is not shy at all, and keeps tasting the cherries to see if they are worth eating yet and lots of them have a nibble mark. I wonder if there will be any cherries left for us! :)

What a summer!

Just one last day in Iceland, and I shall be back home (well, close to it) tomorrow in the early evening.
I'm leaving Iceland at 5pm, and will arrive in Seattle at 5:45pm. Magic! *g*

Am currently sitting in a little roof-top cafe, enjoying the weather, 'cause wherever I go, the sun comes out.

I don't know how, but we completely missed that the US Championship was on recently, and would also love to see the European skaters.
Is there a place where something like this can be watched online, or downloaded?

I searched a little, but couldn't find a thing.
Should turn the TV on more often, I guess.

Last Thursday, we received an awesome surprise in the mail from our daughter’s high school.

Normally, they only write if something is amiss (tardies, library books need to be returned etc.), but this time we got a card inviting the whole family to a breakfast in honor of her having been selected “Student of the month”!
