I do hate the screeching

Aug 23, 2005 22:32

Today I was woken from my post-Advanced-Transfiguration-of-Small-Wooden-Objects-into-Other-Small-Wooden-Objects Of-Nearly-The-Same-Description lie down, by a large, extrememly angry Barn Owl holding a Howler in its similarly angry talons, battering around my very delicate and sleepy head ( Read more... )

I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about.

Do not play dumb with me, Hufflepuff!
I have done my research.

Where is my Exceedingly Large and Mineral Rich Tract of Land?

Are you accusing me of assisting rebel squibs over throw their pure blood masters in order to seize control of their country?
Really Blaise.

Ha!!!!

That was rather easier to do than I expected! I had no idea what you did there, and now you just admitted it!

Besides, it seems like something boring and loyal that you would do.

Now give me my title!

Your use of "Hufflepuff" as an epithet is annoying me, Slytherin.

Unattractive, isn't it?

Look Flinchy, is it so bad being a Hufflepuff that even Hufflepuffs don't like it and think it a dishonor? If so, the rest of us were more correct than we first thought.

I love it when I'm called Slytherin, since you asked. Actually, I think it is quite the opposite of "unattractive". But that kind of talk is mostly confined to the bedroom. And the alcove under the stairs. And the Zabini Family Gardens. And the Malfoy Family Gardens. And the Nott Family Gardens. And...gardens in general. And various windowseats around the castle. The cluster of trees near the boulder on the western side of the lake. And...well, I suppose that is enough for now.

Say it again.

I must confess I'm more well-versed in the study of business than politics, but I'm almost certain you do not qualify as a Tsar. And even if you do, the title sounds a bit silly. Who goes around calling people Tsars these days? What era are we living in? Think about the future, Zabini.

Why not, Weasley? I can crown myself Tzar if I should choose to do so. Tzars can do anything they please.

So what you are saying is I should find a more current term that has the same connotation as "tsar", then, right? What would you suggest?

Quite Possibly Better Than A Tsar Zabini

I'm simply saying that it's unreasonable for a student still at Hogwarts to be giving himself such a pretentious title as Tsar. And yes, outdated as well. We're not in muggle Russia.

So you think I should prove myself worthy of such a title then? What a fantastic idea! I shall get right on that!

I am beginning to fancy "Emperor", though, anyhow.

Emperor Zabini
