Looking around him he realized that there was no escape from this room if the vampire wanted to hurt him, like JaeJoong’s brothers had tried to do. The only way out of this room was thought the door and the vampire was blocking his way, did he do that on purpose? Did he knew that he wanted to escape if something would happen? Could he read his mind? Was that really possible? “Yes” said John suddenly and looked now straight at YunHo. “Yes I can read you mind, and to answer you unspoken question, I can do this because you are bounded to JaeJoong, my adopted son and I am his master. I can do what he can do when he will be fully recovered from the curse, it is impossible for JaeJoong to hide something for me or to seal you away from me.” YunHo’s eyes widened and he did his best to NOT think about everything, to not think about escaping, about running away and not about his feelings and his fears. “You don’t understand the reason why I’m here, YunHo. I’m not here to hurt you and I don’t have the intention to kill you or to sacrifice you to break the curse, I have learned to accept it and I’m already living with it for too long.” John walked slowly away from the door and leaned against the wall on the other side of the room, as far away from YunHo as possible in this small room. “I’m here to talk to you because I knew immutably when I saw you with my adopted son that you needed some help.” YunHo stared confused at the vampire and didn’t knew how to respond to him, he also didn’t knew if he wanted the help form the vampire, he was a stranger and not a normal stranger, he was a VAMPIRE stranger, and THAT was much worse than just a normal, random stranger who was trying to interfere with his personal life! But, he was not stupid enough to tell the vampire that he didn’t wanted his help now that he was alone with the vampire and without JaeJoong to protect him! So he kept his mouth shut and looked down at his own feet, wishing that he was somewhere else than here and that he still lived his normal life with his parents and YooChun. And just then, he realized that he had been thinking about EVERYTHING he didn’t wanted to share with the vampire! His cheeks reddened and he looked quickly up at the vampire, hoping that he wasn’t paying him any attention to him and that he didn’t had read his mind, but he wasn’t lucky, the vampire looked with a knowing, but strangely, a friendly look at him! “YunHo, I know that you don’t want to hear this, but I want to tell you the reason why you are feeling so insecure, why you emotions are changing so fast and why you are so much afraid of everything.” The vampire folded his arms and spoke further. “JaeJoong knows the answers and he isn’t happy that I’m telling you this, and he hasn’t told you about it, simply because he didn’t wanted to push you and to force you to do something where you’re not ready for. But… I’m different than my adopted son and I know that you NEED to know the truth, not because I’m caring about you or something like that, but because I don’t want to see my son hurt by loosing you.” John spoke now no longer with a friendly voice, he sounded now emotionless, almost cold! “Jung YunHo, you are feeling so confused and you emotions are changing so fast because you haven’t made you bond with my son official, you haven’t mated! Only when my son has gleamed you officially you will become stabile again and you will become stronger. And THAT is what a normal human mate need to be, strong, healthy and he or she need to love his or her vampire mate unconditionally!” YunHo looked shocked at the vampire and didn’t wanted to believe this, the vampire was fooling him, yes, that was it, he was just trying to make him uncomfortable! “I am telling the truth, YunHo” And this time the vampire sounded friendly again when he spoke, but YunHo didn’t heard it, he just didn’t wanted to listen to him, not anymore! “YunHo, the reason why my son hasn’t told you about this is because he cared about you and because he hoped that you would discover the truth by yourself. But there are problems now, my other two sons have tried to hurt you and I don’t want that something like this would happen again. I am not the only vampire who is still alive with this cursed bloodline, and I am not the master about their adopted vampire children. So if THEY are trying to do something, I can’t help you. You need to be strong and to accept it that you are now the possession from my son, you need to accept it that you are my new son in law and to become stronger than any normal human ever could become!” The vampire now looked him straight in his eyes and spoke slowly. “And if you don’t want to do this to make my son happy, then do it for yourself because you will be happy too after this, you will be strong and able to protect yourself if you are doing this. It’s your choice, but you need to make this choice now, today and you need to stick to it!”
John pushed himself away from the wall and walked toward the door. “Make a wise choice, I want to see my son happy, I only have two daughters in law, a son would be welcome.” John pushed the door open and left the room, leaving a totally shocked and panicking YunHo alone in his room.
He was so shocked about what he just had heard that he didn’t saw that JaeJoong entered his room, he missed the sad look in his eyes and he missed how the sad look changed into a REALLY angry look. But when he looked at YunHo his eyes were softer again, he only looked irritated when he had passed his master in the doorway. He missed how JaeJoong said something to his master, ”why, why did you tell him that? He isn’t ready for this!” And YunHo missed the apologetic look in the eyes from JaeJoong’s master. He… He just couldn’t believe what he just had heard, it was all so overwhelming for him to accept and… what if it was all true? Did he really needed to… But if he was honest to himself he knew that the vampire had told him the truth, everything what had happened to him since he was with JaeJoong has started when he had become his mate. His feelings, they were really unstable and they were chancing every hour! When he had still been living home, with his parents, he had lived a normal life and he didn’t knew himself like this. He really had chanced! He had changed a lot since he was here! Why hasn’t he realized this before? He felt so stupid that he needed to hear this from a… stranger, a VAMPIRE STRANGER! He sat down on the cold, hard floor and covered his face with both his hands and knew now why he was feeling so sad and he cursed his own weakness for it. “Yun, are you okay?” He felt how JaeJoong now was sitting next to him, also on the floor but he didn’t wrapped his arm around his body, like he normally did. And… he missed the comforting warmth from JaeJoong. But he understood now why JaeJoong was hiding so much from him, he wanted to protect him and he wanted to give him the chance to discover his own feelings. And… he was JaeJoong really thankful for that. But… YunHo looked up at JaeJoong and saw that his eyes were green, vampire green! YunHo’s first response was to back away from JaeJoong, JaeJoong almost never showed him his eyes and the only few times when he had saw them he had become hurt. “Don’t be afraid of me YunHo, this is the real me and I want you to be comfortable with me, even if my eyes are green.” He felt how JaeJoong softly caressed his cheek with his finger and he shivered. “J- JaeJoong? Is it true, what you creator had told me? Do I really need to…” he didn’t finished his sentence, simply because he was too ashamed to talk about it. “Yes, my creator was telling the truth, I’m sorry YunHo… But you don’t need to listen to him or to obey him, he is not you master so he can’t tell you what you need to do. And if you are not ready then I will wait for you.” JaeJoong still caressed his cheek while he spoke but YunHo didn’t felt relieved now that he had heard that JaeJoong didn’t wanted to force him to do something he didn’t wanted. He wasn’t relieved because he was afraid that he would be a burden for JaeJoong, he was also afraid to be attacked again by the other vampires from JaeJoong’s bloodline, where they dangerous? Did they knew about him? And there was another question what was bothering him, was JaeJoong also affected by the bond? He himself had a constantly changing mood and was overly sensitive, but was there also something wrong with JaeJoong, but didn’t he talked about it, just to act strong and to not let him worry anymore than he already did? He closed his eyes and spoke with unsure and worried tone in his voice, “Please will you hold me and tell me if I’m the only one who is affected by this bond because we haven’t…” Again he stopped and was afraid to talk about it, to say the word out lout. He still had his eyes closed, he didn’t wanted to see how JaeJoong looked at him, he was too insecure and too nervous. But he felt how JaeJoong responded to his request and how his warm arms were now holding him close against his own body. He placed his ear against JaeJoong’s chest but… it was strange and unnatural to not hear a sound, a normal, human heartbeat.
But, even now that JaeJoong had responded to him and was now holding him, he didn’t responded to his question for a few minutes. YunHo just started to wonder if he would answer him or not when JaeJoong spoke. “Yes, I’m affected as well, but you don’t need to worry about me, I’m fine. For you as a human is it more difficult to handle this situation than for me as a vampire, I am stronger than you are and I know what to suspect and how to help myself.” YunHo knew that JaeJoong avoided it to answer his question fully, he didn’t said anything about WHAT his symptoms were, only that he was affected, but he felt how JaeJoong’s arms where shivering for a second when he spoke to YunHo. For a moment he wondered worried if why JaeJoong had been shivering, was he feeling unwell? He had also been attacked by the vampires, his brothers so, maybe was he hurt too? But then he realized that that was impossible, he had not seen any blood or wounds… YunHo opened his eyes and stared at JaeJoong, trying to ignore the green eyes who were so inhuman! But he looked at them, at JaeJoong with his green eyes and spoke with a shaking voice. “If- … If I will do it” and he looked back down again, ashamed, “will everything get better? And… will we be happy?” YunHo now stared at his own hands as if they were really important, but everything was better than to look at JaeJoong while he waited for his response. He knew now that it would be REALLY stupid if he didn’t listened to JaeJoong’s creator, but he was still hesitant, afraid and nervous and if he had the choice he would wait for a few weeks, even longer if that was possible. But, he was afraid that he had not the time to wait those weeks and he was JaeJoong thankful that he had tried to hide it for so long for him and he realized that JaeJoong knew him better than he had suspected! “Yes, you will feel better afterwards, but again, if you don’t want it, you don’t need to do it. We can wait and you DON’T need to worry about the other vampires from my bloodline, my creator only tried to scare you, but they are really no threat, they are living on the other side of the world and I only have seen them two times during my vampire life. So I’m sure that they wouldn’t bother us here.” YunHo now frowned when he heard JaeJoong’s words and thought about them, had he really still some time? But JaeJoong? What did he wanted? Was he selfish to act this way? Was he bringing both of them in danger by refusing JaeJoong? And what if JaeJoong’s creator had told the truth and was JaeJoong only trying to comfort him but where they still in danger? Or, more important, was HE in danger? Because he was the one who needed to be killed and he was the one who was not able to protect himself! “Don’t think about it any longer YunHo, you are safe now and that is all what mattered now” said JaeJoong with a friendly voice. “Come downstairs with me so that I can prepare something to eat for you.” JaeJoong looked at the open door and just when JaeJoong had talked about food, he realized that he really was hungry. For how long hadn’t he eaten? “But… You family they are…” “Gone” interrupted JaeJoong. “They have left immediately when my master was done with talking to you. They wouldn’t come back for a while, to give us some privacy.” Gone? YunHo frowned, he didn’t have heard anything, no doors what had been opened and closed, nothing! “Really? I haven’t heard anything” he followed JaeJoong’s gaze and started at the door from his bedroom. “A normal human isn't able to hear us if we don’t want them to hear us.” JaeJoong turned his head toward YunHo and spoke with a serious look in his eyes. “And you are still a normal human, the only thing where you are different in is you age, you are young forever. But, you are still not stronger and not weaker than any other, random human. And you will be the same as them until…” JaeJoong stopped and changed from topic. “Come, let me prepare something to eat for you” and just when JaeJoong had said this he pulled YunHo upright and took his hand in his.
After he had eaten something, and he must confess that JaeJoong had become a really good cook since he had taken care of YunHo, he saw that there was something wrong with JaeJoong. His face looked a little more paler than usual and when YunHo pulled out his hand and touched JaeJoong’s fingers, he noticed that JaeJoong was ice and ice cold! Quickly he pulled his hand away from the vampire and stared in shock at JaeJoong. “What is wrong with you? Why are you so cold?” He saw how JaeJoong now looked apologetic at him and he licked with his tongue over his lips. “I’m sorry YunHo, but I need to eat something.” YunHo still stared at JaeJoong, but this time he frowned, vampires couldn’t eat, right? And just when he had thought that, he suddenly realized where JaeJoong was talking about, he needed his… blood! He swallowed and looked quickly away from JaeJoong, he still didn’t liked it that somebody would drink his blood and he was still afraid about the biting part. But because he now knew that if he didn’t would give JaeJoong his blood, that the vampire would die, he didn’t protested. He only looked down and felt scared again, not for JaeJoong but for his fangs and the fact the he would drink his blood. He also felt bad for refusing JaeJoong, he was safe because of the vampire, JaeJoong had protected him, even against his own family, so… He didn’t wanted that JaeJoong would do it, but at the same time he didn’t wanted to refuse him, he was so confused again! He had hoped that it would be relieving to know WHY he felt so confused, scared and all the time so over emotional, but he wasn’t relieved about it, it made him only more worried than he already was! “I’m sorry YunHo, but I don’t ask you this time if you want it or not, I need to drink you blood to survive and I don’t like it to do something to you what you don’t want or something where you afraid of, but I will drink from you and the only thing I can do is making it easy for you.” The vampire took YunHo’s warmer hand in his cold one and gave him a squeeze. “I bring you to your own bedroom and will do it there so that you can lie down and rest afterwards, okay?” YunHo nodded with a loud pounding heartbeat and followed the vampire. This would be the first time that he would give JaeJoong his blood willingly and he wasn’t so sure if he was ready for it. But at the same time, he realized that he needed to do his, he needed to accept it because this was something he needed to do for the rest of his life, and he even didn’t knew for how long that would be! Try to relax while I’m drinking you blood and remember that the pain would be bearable when you are trying to relax you muscles.” YunHo grabbed JaeJoong suddenly by his arm and stopped him, “wait…” His voice sounded a little higher than normal and his breathing sounded harsh, but he tried to stay calm, he wanted to show the vampire that he wasn’t as weak as everybody thought. “Please, make the room dark, I don’t want to see what is going to happen and when it is going to happen. and… I don’t want to see my own blood, so please, make the room dark before you are drinking my blood…” He really hoped that it would help him a little if he didn’t saw what was going to happen, a normal other person would be scared in the dark, but he was obviously different. If he would see what was going to happen he would stiffen his body, he would be nervous and that was not good, he would only hurt himself that way! But if he didn’t saw what JaeJoong was doing, than he hoped that he would be a little more calmer, and yes, he KNEW that he acted strange, but he couldn’t help himself and he really needed this! “Okay, lie down, close your eyes and try to relax…” YunHo obeyed the vampire out of his free will and tried to relax his body, wondering if this ever would get better and that he would get used to it soon. Okay, concentrate and relax… he turned his attention to his breathing and felt how his body relaxed a little. A few minutes later he felt how JaeJoong was stroking his hair out of his face and his body stiffened again. But JaeJoong didn’t bite him, no, the vampire just stroked his hair and waited for him to calm down again. And it helped, he was thankful that JaeJoong wanted to take his time to calm him and to do it in his tempo.
YunHo was not sure if JaeJoong did something to him or if he himself was really so calm, but his whole body relaxed while JaeJoong caressed his hair, he was now so calm that he almost had fallen asleep when he felt something, it was not painful but he noticed that something happened. It was as if he had been stuck with a needle, quick and almost without any pain. But, even now that he didn’t felt any real pain, he still stiffened for a short moment. Just the thought that JaeJoong was drinking his blood was scaring him, but it was comforting him that JaeJoong had been right about feeling no pain and he calmed when he felt that JaeJoong was holding him a little closer now that his body had responded to his bite. He closed his eyes again and tried to not think about JaeJoong’s fangs that were now deep buried inside his neck, about his mouth against his skin and the blood he sucked from him. No, he didn’t tried to think about that and concentrated on other things, like the way JaeJoong was holding him and tried to comfort him by holding him close in his arms and he tried to concentrate on JaeJoong’s hands left hand and the way he was holding his hand in his. He felt after a few minutes how JaeJoong’s body was feeling a little warmer than a few minutes before. When he had started to drink his blood he had been really cold and now he felt almost like a normal human being, he was still a little too cold to be normal, but it was no longer strange or inhuman. He even enjoyed it to be so close to JaeJoong now and to feel his body head, and he started to feel warmer and warmer with the minute! But, JaeJoong was not the only one who was feeling the effects from his blood, because JaeJoong was drinking from him he was feeling tired, his body weakened and he was now the one who was feeling cold. He shivered and wanted to snuggle closer against JaeJoong who was now warmer than he but he was afraid to move, worried that he would hurt himself because JaeJoong was still drinking his blood and his fangs were still deep buried inside his neck. So yeah, he was sure that moving and snuggling closer against JaeJoong’s warm body was not such a good idea so he stayed where he was and shivered and hoped that JaeJoong was done soon. He was now really tired from the blood loss and he wanted to rest. He wasn’t really sure when he had closed his eyes, but from one to another moment he was covered under a warm blanked and sat JaeJoong next to him in a comfortable chair, reading a book. A night lamp was turned on besides him on the nightstand and he had really no idea for how long he had been asleep, and when he had fallen asleep. He shivered and pulled the blanked higher up and realized that he wore his pajamas, had JaeJoong done this? His cheeks burned red and he looked unsure in JaeJoong’s direction who was still busy with reading his book. But what YunHo didn’t knew was that JaeJoong had been watched him the whole time, he only had a book in his hands to make YunHo a little more comfortable around him. He had knew it that YunHo started to wake up after all the hours he had been asleep. His vampire strength had returned for a little bit, he was still not as strong as a normal vampire because of the curse, but he was now strong enough again to take care of YunHo and to be healthy. And yes, YunHo had been right and he had changed YunHo’s clothes into his pajamas, knowing that he wouldn’t like it but he had been too cold and he needed warmer clothes than the ones he was wearing now. But, JaeJoong had done nothing to YunHo while he had taken care of his mate, it had been difficult for him but he had controlled himself, for YunHo and because he didn’t wanted to lose his trust, the trust he had just won!
YunHo stared at JaeJoong and lifted his shaking, cold hand up and felt if there was a wound in his neck, but he noted that JaeJoong had taped the little puncture wounds… He frowned and wondered why JaeJoong had done that, the last time JaeJoong had drunk his blood he had left his neck untouched and had not taped anything. Had something gone wrong and was he wounded? He didn’t knew it, the last thing he remembered was that he had been tired and that he had been cold. He remembered that he had wished that JaeJoong would be done soon. “JaeJoong?” He knew now that JaeJoong was aware that he was awake, he was a vampire so he needed to have heard something so it would be useless to ignore him or to try to avoid him. So he called for the vampire, he had suddenly the urge to be near him, he still was confused and he was not so sure if he liked it that he had no choice in the matter but he now knew that it was useless to fight it. He saw that JaeJoong had lowered his book and that he now watched him with a friendly look in his eyes. “Are you alright?” he saw that the vampire walked toward him and a few seconds later he had what he wanted, JaeJoong sat next him on the bed, but he had kept a distance between them, respecting the possibility that YunHo wanted some space and caressed his cheek with a now warm fingertip. “Eh…” YunHo was now no longer so sure if it was a good idea to get so close to the vampire, his face was now really red and his heartbeat quickened. Why was he responding so strongly to JaeJoong, he had only touched him with his fingertip… Ahhhh! He wanted to scream from the frustration he suddenly felt and wanted to hide under his blanked. And actually, that was not such a bad idea, it was warm there and he could over think his emotions a little bit more, but he stayed where he was and looked at JaeJoong, still with his face red and with a heartbeat what was sounding too loud and clear that it was impossible to not hear! “I- I’m fine…” He hesitated and wondered if JaeJoong would say something about his response toward him but the vampire only smiled warmly at him. “What happened? And… why do I have this-“ he pointed at the tape what was covering his wounds and frowned again. “What happened?” Repeated he himself with a uneasy feeling. “Don’t hold back and come here while I’m talking” said JaeJoong and opened his arms for YunHo. He stared a few seconds at the vampire and snuggled in JaeJoong’s arms, still covered under his blanked because he had it still too cold. He pressed his face against JaeJoong’s chest and wondered why he was fighting his feelings so much, it was not bad to be here, in JaeJoong’s arms, safe and warm… He felt how JaeJoong stroked his hair and she sighed, wondering if it would be easier to just give in and to made it himself and JaeJoong more comfortable with each other. “You fell asleep because you were too weak to stay awake and you fall while I was still drinking you blood. I have accidently created some scratches in your neck but you don’t need to worry about it, I have cleaned them so that they will heal easy.” JaeJoong fell silent and he thought about what JaeJoong had told him. So, he was wounded? He didn’t felt any pain, so he trusted JaeJoong that it was not bad and that he knew what he was doing. And JaeJoong’s explanation didn’t sounded so strange, he had really been cold and tired, so he trusted JaeJoong and wondered suddenly how long he had been asleep. “How lon…-“ but before he could have asked his question JaeJoong had already answered him, had he read his mind? “You were asleep for almost eleven hours, you needed it.” YunHo nodded, he didn’t felt tired anymore and he was strangely not so scared anymore about the blood drinking problem. He had now experienced that it really didn’t needed to hurt if he would trust JaeJoong. “JaeJoong, can I ask you something?” He looked now up at the vampire and spoke when the vampire nodded with a curious look in his eyes. He had apparently not read his mind because he had no idea what he was going to ask…

John pushed himself away from the wall and walked toward the door. “Make a wise choice, I want to see my son happy, I only have two daughters in law, a son would be welcome.” John pushed the door open and left the room, leaving a totally shocked and panicking YunHo alone in his room.
He was so shocked about what he just had heard that he didn’t saw that JaeJoong entered his room, he missed the sad look in his eyes and he missed how the sad look changed into a REALLY angry look. But when he looked at YunHo his eyes were softer again, he only looked irritated when he had passed his master in the doorway. He missed how JaeJoong said something to his master, ”why, why did you tell him that? He isn’t ready for this!” And YunHo missed the apologetic look in the eyes from JaeJoong’s master. He… He just couldn’t believe what he just had heard, it was all so overwhelming for him to accept and… what if it was all true? Did he really needed to… But if he was honest to himself he knew that the vampire had told him the truth, everything what had happened to him since he was with JaeJoong has started when he had become his mate. His feelings, they were really unstable and they were chancing every hour! When he had still been living home, with his parents, he had lived a normal life and he didn’t knew himself like this. He really had chanced! He had changed a lot since he was here! Why hasn’t he realized this before? He felt so stupid that he needed to hear this from a… stranger, a VAMPIRE STRANGER! He sat down on the cold, hard floor and covered his face with both his hands and knew now why he was feeling so sad and he cursed his own weakness for it. “Yun, are you okay?” He felt how JaeJoong now was sitting next to him, also on the floor but he didn’t wrapped his arm around his body, like he normally did. And… he missed the comforting warmth from JaeJoong. But he understood now why JaeJoong was hiding so much from him, he wanted to protect him and he wanted to give him the chance to discover his own feelings. And… he was JaeJoong really thankful for that. But… YunHo looked up at JaeJoong and saw that his eyes were green, vampire green! YunHo’s first response was to back away from JaeJoong, JaeJoong almost never showed him his eyes and the only few times when he had saw them he had become hurt. “Don’t be afraid of me YunHo, this is the real me and I want you to be comfortable with me, even if my eyes are green.” He felt how JaeJoong softly caressed his cheek with his finger and he shivered. “J- JaeJoong? Is it true, what you creator had told me? Do I really need to…” he didn’t finished his sentence, simply because he was too ashamed to talk about it. “Yes, my creator was telling the truth, I’m sorry YunHo… But you don’t need to listen to him or to obey him, he is not you master so he can’t tell you what you need to do. And if you are not ready then I will wait for you.” JaeJoong still caressed his cheek while he spoke but YunHo didn’t felt relieved now that he had heard that JaeJoong didn’t wanted to force him to do something he didn’t wanted. He wasn’t relieved because he was afraid that he would be a burden for JaeJoong, he was also afraid to be attacked again by the other vampires from JaeJoong’s bloodline, where they dangerous? Did they knew about him? And there was another question what was bothering him, was JaeJoong also affected by the bond? He himself had a constantly changing mood and was overly sensitive, but was there also something wrong with JaeJoong, but didn’t he talked about it, just to act strong and to not let him worry anymore than he already did? He closed his eyes and spoke with unsure and worried tone in his voice, “Please will you hold me and tell me if I’m the only one who is affected by this bond because we haven’t…” Again he stopped and was afraid to talk about it, to say the word out lout. He still had his eyes closed, he didn’t wanted to see how JaeJoong looked at him, he was too insecure and too nervous. But he felt how JaeJoong responded to his request and how his warm arms were now holding him close against his own body. He placed his ear against JaeJoong’s chest but… it was strange and unnatural to not hear a sound, a normal, human heartbeat.
But, even now that JaeJoong had responded to him and was now holding him, he didn’t responded to his question for a few minutes. YunHo just started to wonder if he would answer him or not when JaeJoong spoke. “Yes, I’m affected as well, but you don’t need to worry about me, I’m fine. For you as a human is it more difficult to handle this situation than for me as a vampire, I am stronger than you are and I know what to suspect and how to help myself.” YunHo knew that JaeJoong avoided it to answer his question fully, he didn’t said anything about WHAT his symptoms were, only that he was affected, but he felt how JaeJoong’s arms where shivering for a second when he spoke to YunHo. For a moment he wondered worried if why JaeJoong had been shivering, was he feeling unwell? He had also been attacked by the vampires, his brothers so, maybe was he hurt too? But then he realized that that was impossible, he had not seen any blood or wounds… YunHo opened his eyes and stared at JaeJoong, trying to ignore the green eyes who were so inhuman! But he looked at them, at JaeJoong with his green eyes and spoke with a shaking voice. “If- … If I will do it” and he looked back down again, ashamed, “will everything get better? And… will we be happy?” YunHo now stared at his own hands as if they were really important, but everything was better than to look at JaeJoong while he waited for his response. He knew now that it would be REALLY stupid if he didn’t listened to JaeJoong’s creator, but he was still hesitant, afraid and nervous and if he had the choice he would wait for a few weeks, even longer if that was possible. But, he was afraid that he had not the time to wait those weeks and he was JaeJoong thankful that he had tried to hide it for so long for him and he realized that JaeJoong knew him better than he had suspected! “Yes, you will feel better afterwards, but again, if you don’t want it, you don’t need to do it. We can wait and you DON’T need to worry about the other vampires from my bloodline, my creator only tried to scare you, but they are really no threat, they are living on the other side of the world and I only have seen them two times during my vampire life. So I’m sure that they wouldn’t bother us here.” YunHo now frowned when he heard JaeJoong’s words and thought about them, had he really still some time? But JaeJoong? What did he wanted? Was he selfish to act this way? Was he bringing both of them in danger by refusing JaeJoong? And what if JaeJoong’s creator had told the truth and was JaeJoong only trying to comfort him but where they still in danger? Or, more important, was HE in danger? Because he was the one who needed to be killed and he was the one who was not able to protect himself! “Don’t think about it any longer YunHo, you are safe now and that is all what mattered now” said JaeJoong with a friendly voice. “Come downstairs with me so that I can prepare something to eat for you.” JaeJoong looked at the open door and just when JaeJoong had talked about food, he realized that he really was hungry. For how long hadn’t he eaten? “But… You family they are…” “Gone” interrupted JaeJoong. “They have left immediately when my master was done with talking to you. They wouldn’t come back for a while, to give us some privacy.” Gone? YunHo frowned, he didn’t have heard anything, no doors what had been opened and closed, nothing! “Really? I haven’t heard anything” he followed JaeJoong’s gaze and started at the door from his bedroom. “A normal human isn't able to hear us if we don’t want them to hear us.” JaeJoong turned his head toward YunHo and spoke with a serious look in his eyes. “And you are still a normal human, the only thing where you are different in is you age, you are young forever. But, you are still not stronger and not weaker than any other, random human. And you will be the same as them until…” JaeJoong stopped and changed from topic. “Come, let me prepare something to eat for you” and just when JaeJoong had said this he pulled YunHo upright and took his hand in his.
After he had eaten something, and he must confess that JaeJoong had become a really good cook since he had taken care of YunHo, he saw that there was something wrong with JaeJoong. His face looked a little more paler than usual and when YunHo pulled out his hand and touched JaeJoong’s fingers, he noticed that JaeJoong was ice and ice cold! Quickly he pulled his hand away from the vampire and stared in shock at JaeJoong. “What is wrong with you? Why are you so cold?” He saw how JaeJoong now looked apologetic at him and he licked with his tongue over his lips. “I’m sorry YunHo, but I need to eat something.” YunHo still stared at JaeJoong, but this time he frowned, vampires couldn’t eat, right? And just when he had thought that, he suddenly realized where JaeJoong was talking about, he needed his… blood! He swallowed and looked quickly away from JaeJoong, he still didn’t liked it that somebody would drink his blood and he was still afraid about the biting part. But because he now knew that if he didn’t would give JaeJoong his blood, that the vampire would die, he didn’t protested. He only looked down and felt scared again, not for JaeJoong but for his fangs and the fact the he would drink his blood. He also felt bad for refusing JaeJoong, he was safe because of the vampire, JaeJoong had protected him, even against his own family, so… He didn’t wanted that JaeJoong would do it, but at the same time he didn’t wanted to refuse him, he was so confused again! He had hoped that it would be relieving to know WHY he felt so confused, scared and all the time so over emotional, but he wasn’t relieved about it, it made him only more worried than he already was! “I’m sorry YunHo, but I don’t ask you this time if you want it or not, I need to drink you blood to survive and I don’t like it to do something to you what you don’t want or something where you afraid of, but I will drink from you and the only thing I can do is making it easy for you.” The vampire took YunHo’s warmer hand in his cold one and gave him a squeeze. “I bring you to your own bedroom and will do it there so that you can lie down and rest afterwards, okay?” YunHo nodded with a loud pounding heartbeat and followed the vampire. This would be the first time that he would give JaeJoong his blood willingly and he wasn’t so sure if he was ready for it. But at the same time, he realized that he needed to do his, he needed to accept it because this was something he needed to do for the rest of his life, and he even didn’t knew for how long that would be! Try to relax while I’m drinking you blood and remember that the pain would be bearable when you are trying to relax you muscles.” YunHo grabbed JaeJoong suddenly by his arm and stopped him, “wait…” His voice sounded a little higher than normal and his breathing sounded harsh, but he tried to stay calm, he wanted to show the vampire that he wasn’t as weak as everybody thought. “Please, make the room dark, I don’t want to see what is going to happen and when it is going to happen. and… I don’t want to see my own blood, so please, make the room dark before you are drinking my blood…” He really hoped that it would help him a little if he didn’t saw what was going to happen, a normal other person would be scared in the dark, but he was obviously different. If he would see what was going to happen he would stiffen his body, he would be nervous and that was not good, he would only hurt himself that way! But if he didn’t saw what JaeJoong was doing, than he hoped that he would be a little more calmer, and yes, he KNEW that he acted strange, but he couldn’t help himself and he really needed this! “Okay, lie down, close your eyes and try to relax…” YunHo obeyed the vampire out of his free will and tried to relax his body, wondering if this ever would get better and that he would get used to it soon. Okay, concentrate and relax… he turned his attention to his breathing and felt how his body relaxed a little. A few minutes later he felt how JaeJoong was stroking his hair out of his face and his body stiffened again. But JaeJoong didn’t bite him, no, the vampire just stroked his hair and waited for him to calm down again. And it helped, he was thankful that JaeJoong wanted to take his time to calm him and to do it in his tempo.
YunHo was not sure if JaeJoong did something to him or if he himself was really so calm, but his whole body relaxed while JaeJoong caressed his hair, he was now so calm that he almost had fallen asleep when he felt something, it was not painful but he noticed that something happened. It was as if he had been stuck with a needle, quick and almost without any pain. But, even now that he didn’t felt any real pain, he still stiffened for a short moment. Just the thought that JaeJoong was drinking his blood was scaring him, but it was comforting him that JaeJoong had been right about feeling no pain and he calmed when he felt that JaeJoong was holding him a little closer now that his body had responded to his bite. He closed his eyes again and tried to not think about JaeJoong’s fangs that were now deep buried inside his neck, about his mouth against his skin and the blood he sucked from him. No, he didn’t tried to think about that and concentrated on other things, like the way JaeJoong was holding him and tried to comfort him by holding him close in his arms and he tried to concentrate on JaeJoong’s hands left hand and the way he was holding his hand in his. He felt after a few minutes how JaeJoong’s body was feeling a little warmer than a few minutes before. When he had started to drink his blood he had been really cold and now he felt almost like a normal human being, he was still a little too cold to be normal, but it was no longer strange or inhuman. He even enjoyed it to be so close to JaeJoong now and to feel his body head, and he started to feel warmer and warmer with the minute! But, JaeJoong was not the only one who was feeling the effects from his blood, because JaeJoong was drinking from him he was feeling tired, his body weakened and he was now the one who was feeling cold. He shivered and wanted to snuggle closer against JaeJoong who was now warmer than he but he was afraid to move, worried that he would hurt himself because JaeJoong was still drinking his blood and his fangs were still deep buried inside his neck. So yeah, he was sure that moving and snuggling closer against JaeJoong’s warm body was not such a good idea so he stayed where he was and shivered and hoped that JaeJoong was done soon. He was now really tired from the blood loss and he wanted to rest. He wasn’t really sure when he had closed his eyes, but from one to another moment he was covered under a warm blanked and sat JaeJoong next to him in a comfortable chair, reading a book. A night lamp was turned on besides him on the nightstand and he had really no idea for how long he had been asleep, and when he had fallen asleep. He shivered and pulled the blanked higher up and realized that he wore his pajamas, had JaeJoong done this? His cheeks burned red and he looked unsure in JaeJoong’s direction who was still busy with reading his book. But what YunHo didn’t knew was that JaeJoong had been watched him the whole time, he only had a book in his hands to make YunHo a little more comfortable around him. He had knew it that YunHo started to wake up after all the hours he had been asleep. His vampire strength had returned for a little bit, he was still not as strong as a normal vampire because of the curse, but he was now strong enough again to take care of YunHo and to be healthy. And yes, YunHo had been right and he had changed YunHo’s clothes into his pajamas, knowing that he wouldn’t like it but he had been too cold and he needed warmer clothes than the ones he was wearing now. But, JaeJoong had done nothing to YunHo while he had taken care of his mate, it had been difficult for him but he had controlled himself, for YunHo and because he didn’t wanted to lose his trust, the trust he had just won!
YunHo stared at JaeJoong and lifted his shaking, cold hand up and felt if there was a wound in his neck, but he noted that JaeJoong had taped the little puncture wounds… He frowned and wondered why JaeJoong had done that, the last time JaeJoong had drunk his blood he had left his neck untouched and had not taped anything. Had something gone wrong and was he wounded? He didn’t knew it, the last thing he remembered was that he had been tired and that he had been cold. He remembered that he had wished that JaeJoong would be done soon. “JaeJoong?” He knew now that JaeJoong was aware that he was awake, he was a vampire so he needed to have heard something so it would be useless to ignore him or to try to avoid him. So he called for the vampire, he had suddenly the urge to be near him, he still was confused and he was not so sure if he liked it that he had no choice in the matter but he now knew that it was useless to fight it. He saw that JaeJoong had lowered his book and that he now watched him with a friendly look in his eyes. “Are you alright?” he saw that the vampire walked toward him and a few seconds later he had what he wanted, JaeJoong sat next him on the bed, but he had kept a distance between them, respecting the possibility that YunHo wanted some space and caressed his cheek with a now warm fingertip. “Eh…” YunHo was now no longer so sure if it was a good idea to get so close to the vampire, his face was now really red and his heartbeat quickened. Why was he responding so strongly to JaeJoong, he had only touched him with his fingertip… Ahhhh! He wanted to scream from the frustration he suddenly felt and wanted to hide under his blanked. And actually, that was not such a bad idea, it was warm there and he could over think his emotions a little bit more, but he stayed where he was and looked at JaeJoong, still with his face red and with a heartbeat what was sounding too loud and clear that it was impossible to not hear! “I- I’m fine…” He hesitated and wondered if JaeJoong would say something about his response toward him but the vampire only smiled warmly at him. “What happened? And… why do I have this-“ he pointed at the tape what was covering his wounds and frowned again. “What happened?” Repeated he himself with a uneasy feeling. “Don’t hold back and come here while I’m talking” said JaeJoong and opened his arms for YunHo. He stared a few seconds at the vampire and snuggled in JaeJoong’s arms, still covered under his blanked because he had it still too cold. He pressed his face against JaeJoong’s chest and wondered why he was fighting his feelings so much, it was not bad to be here, in JaeJoong’s arms, safe and warm… He felt how JaeJoong stroked his hair and she sighed, wondering if it would be easier to just give in and to made it himself and JaeJoong more comfortable with each other. “You fell asleep because you were too weak to stay awake and you fall while I was still drinking you blood. I have accidently created some scratches in your neck but you don’t need to worry about it, I have cleaned them so that they will heal easy.” JaeJoong fell silent and he thought about what JaeJoong had told him. So, he was wounded? He didn’t felt any pain, so he trusted JaeJoong that it was not bad and that he knew what he was doing. And JaeJoong’s explanation didn’t sounded so strange, he had really been cold and tired, so he trusted JaeJoong and wondered suddenly how long he had been asleep. “How lon…-“ but before he could have asked his question JaeJoong had already answered him, had he read his mind? “You were asleep for almost eleven hours, you needed it.” YunHo nodded, he didn’t felt tired anymore and he was strangely not so scared anymore about the blood drinking problem. He had now experienced that it really didn’t needed to hurt if he would trust JaeJoong. “JaeJoong, can I ask you something?” He looked now up at the vampire and spoke when the vampire nodded with a curious look in his eyes. He had apparently not read his mind because he had no idea what he was going to ask…
