Damn internet connection
I didn't realise just how much I'm addicted to the internet until my connection kept going down recently (ok I did know I just chose not to think about it before then). I just use it for so many things- keeping in touch with family and friends, research, and just simply having fun whilst I'm stuck at home with little spare cash for nights out ( Read more... ) -
Surprisingly enjoying the long weekend....

I really wasn't expecting to- all 3 kids at home, no spare cash since we've had return flights and passports to pay for, and me having a bit of a cold, didn't seem like it would be a whole lot of fun. I've spent much of this week in a constant state of low level arousal, I know its a cliche but the spring air really has an affect on me. Interesting find
Yesterday my daughter presented me with an old journal of mine that she'd found in her room (we swapped rooms around a couple of years ago and it had ended up behind the bookcase). I'd only made a few entries in it and it was 4 years old but it was an interesting find none the less ( Read more... ) -
The morning after the whine before
So I admit it, when I wrote my previous entry I was feeling a little sorry for myself. But in my defence a lack of cash, a shortage in free time and giving up one of your favourite vices will do that to a girl. Serious shortage of fun
For the past couple of months I've been rushed off my feet trying to get the house sorted out, generally taking care of the kids, even stopping smoking, so today I was in serious need of a break. Its Friday evening and after a long, trying week I'm driving down to my friend's cabin by the lake for the weekend to recharge my batteries.
