LibraryThing has filled a gap in my life: Where to scribble the titles of all those cool books I hear about and want to get out of the library sometime.

On Valentine's Day
Head cold.
Bleargh.
Everybody at work has it, too, which just goes to show that, since you can get mighty sick from nothing but sharing air, you might as well go smooch your sweetie. -
Really home
Went for a run last night. (At last!)
Then cooked, in my own kitchen, with my own husband. Me: French onion soup. Him: hazelnut-encrusted snapper.
And then I slept (but for a small interlude at 4am) until 6. Hooray!
Mmmmm... So good to be home. -

Hotel Tango
Back to the hotel, finally, at 8:30 pm. Shared a Skype call with my mother, which was cheering. The room service number was busy (say "engaged") for half an hour, so I went down to the coffeeshop (which in fact has a full buffet all the time) and looked beleaguered and pathetic until someone took care of me.
