Mostly good weekend....
Spent a lot of time out of the house doing stuff, mostly Katsucon stuff on Sat. Then Sunday I got to go to a friend of a friends house for an awesome potluck. Mostly wonderful relaxed time. I did come away with a couple of things I wish people would keep in mind more often ( Read more... ) -

Setting up for a fail....
Ok,I try to keep the politics to a minimum here, I have my views, you have yours, and some people I care very much about feel very differently than I do. But I want to make something clear. Security blankets...
I just let go, a little, of one of my security blankets. I cut about 8 inches off my hair, so its just below shoulder length. I'm not sure if I'm happy about it yet, it is however as short as I can cut it on my own. I'll go to a salon and get a style soon I suspect ( Read more... ) -

New Years Day..
This year has been difficult, so much loss, so many changes. But now, its a new year, a new beginning.
I don't really do resolutions, they never seem to end well for me, but I think I'm going to try to make a commitment to living my life and being present instead of reactive.
I love you all and I wish you a happy healthy 2009 -
