I have been pretty ill post New Orleans trip, I can't imagine living in that toxic area again. My father came by yesterday and dropped off a spare microwave they had! Yay! Microwaves are very useful for reheating all manner of things, including the cold-wax/liquin medium I prefer using when oil painting. Now to replenish my stock of baby food ( Read more... )

Yesterday started auspiciously, with a flurry of quick tidying up and several phone calls, then a visit from the woods... a doe, two fawns with a buck following at their heels.
