At 10pm last night the carbon dioxide monitor battery died & started that annoying warning beeping that they do. Everyone looked at me. Seems I'm the only one in the house who "knows how it works". Things are looking up.

Shades of travelling in India during the hot season when it was 40C+ every day. When you got dressed in the morning your clothes were hot even before you put them on.

dh has been totally stressed over work & we're both stressed over this stupid house so Friday I booked the two of us into a nice hotel for Saturday night.
