If I were keeping a food diary these days, it would look really strange. When will I be able to sleep again? I'm tired right up until I get into bed and then I'm in for hours of staring at the ceiling and imagining that the shadows are moving in suspiciously lifelike ways. I can't keep sleeping during the day to make up for it; I have to start working sometime soon.

I feel like jumping in a river tonight and just letting it take me away.

Maybe it's just the lack of sleep talking, but somehow it seems strangely upsetting to find myself back on the same day of the week again. It feels like Mondays shouldn't happen anymore.
