Update while I slack, waiting for a build to install
Big BIG personal news is that my green card came through - so I don't have to juggle visas and travel documents anymore, and I can lose my job and not be deported. Big relief. Sucker Punched
Watched 'Sucker Punch' last night. It's the high-budget, girl version of Fellini's '8 1/2' . I like how the hot, schoolgirl-outfit mental patient gets up off of the chair to scold the writer/director for the scene, (just like the ridiculous spa in 8.5) and the design is pure art, but the desperation and over-the-top pageantry cut a little too deep ( Read more... ) -
