Yay, I finally got up the nerve to tell James he needs to start lifting the seat.

I heard that stuffing your mouth with bread stops onions from stinging your eyes, and it actually does. I just chopped two onions the size of grapefruits with barely a hint of a sting.

I cycled 25 miles today!

I know that's not very impressive, but apart from going into town and back last week it's been over three years since I've been on a bike, and the most I'd cycled as an adult was maybe 10 miles in a day. I went to the Bluebell Railway and didn't see any steam trains.

I emailed Iris to remind her that we're going to Kung Fu tonight, and since she'd forgotten I asked if she wanted me to bring a sports bra. In response, gmail gave me lots of ads relating to ladies' underwear.
