Last night, er, this morning, Ash and I went to Galveston to watch the sun rise. It was my first time to ever see a full sunrise!! It was unbelievable. It was the closest to Heaven I've ever felt. Family fun weekend (our cheap alternative to a vacation) is coming to an end. We're all getting ready to go see the Phantom of the Opera At the Hobby Center! I'm so excited. My mom and I went to see a movie last night, and at the ticket window the guy asked what we wanted to see, so my mom told him in her very East Texas accent, "We need two tickets for Shared Britches." (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, I quickly informed him.)
