I had a wonderful holiday. Wednesday was Lola's birthday, so I worked a 1/2 day and spent the rest of time with her out and about at all her favorite places. Or places that I think she likes. Lola is feeling MUCH better today. Yesterday, she was so whiney and clingy that I thought she might be feeling worse. So I took her with me everywhere I went, whether it was to get a soda, to the bathroom, everywhere. She slept with me last night and today - she's back to normal. I talked to the vet this morning at 6:30 a.m. Her final bloodwork came back perfect. He said that aside from this, she is in perfect health and he told me to call at 11:00. So, I talked to the vet at 11:00 and he said she was doing just fine and to call again at 3:00. Then I called at 3:00, and the vet (different one this time, the other one's ( Read more... )

After I had posted my last post, Lola ate some and then went poop. Still bloody and VERY stinky. I called the vet and they had me bring her to the emergency room. I had a VERY busy day today. I'm trying to get as much done (translation: everything) as possible before I go on vacation next week.
