Neal is trapped at an airport in DC due to inept airport ticket operators. He got on a plane in Seattle last night around 11:30 and is still not in South Carolina. Neal is on his way to South Carolina. He got a call that his uncle Bob died, he's going there with his father. It's very unexpected, since he was the youngest brother, Neal's father is the middle child. I don't know how long Neal will be there, but he's there for his father, and for his grandparents. Today I canned 25 quarts of pears. One of my coworkers has a tree and she doesn't eat them, so I picked a bunch. I still have a paper bag full of them. I took out all the wormy and bruised ones, so the bag is firm and not over ripe, it can hold out until I figure out what to do with it ( Read more... )
