Honestly, I am pretty sure that there is nothing in my mp3 folder that no one else has. I have not been recording my own music, and really that is the only way that I would have something truly unique. But, if we go with the idea that this should apply to something that few, if any, of my LJ friends would have, then I can oblige.
When I lived in New Mexico, I would go salsa dancing an average of about three and a half times a week. Monday nights were lessons in White Rock. Wednesdays was El Farol in Santa Fe. Every other Saturday was The Mambo Room. But my favorite was Thursday. Thursday nights I would go to WilLee's Blues Club and hear Nosotros.
I could not find a video of a single song of theirs, but the following video is of them at WilLee's back in April 2007. I might have been there that night. It is hard to remember. I definitely recognize most of the dancers in the video. ... I miss them, and I miss that band.
