Day 30: A song you'd like played at your funeral.

At first I had trouble with this. I just am not that morbid. I rarely think about my own death and certainly not my own funeral. But after a great deal of thought, I came up with a few. And after some more thought I realized something else.

I plan on outliving all of you.

So, since (barring accident, disaster, or apocalypse) none of you will make it to this event, I might as well share my soundtrack for my final party. I have not settled on the order of this playlist yet. The only thing that is certain is which song is going to be last. I told a friend about it, and he said it might be the most evil choice ever! How could I resist after a comment like that?

  1. Squirrel Nut Zippers - Hell
  2. El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico - La Muerte
  3. Héctor Lavoe & Willie Colón - Todo Tiene Su Final
  4. Harry Belafonte - Zombie Jamboree
  5. Carol Burnett - So Long
  6. It's a Small World
Actually, there was one song that I could not find on YouTube. Bobby McFerrin - Mañana Iguana. That is an absolutely perfect song to include. Oh well. I guess that I am not allowed to die since my list in incomplete! ;)

el gran combo de puerto rico, bobby mcferrin, zombie jamboree, it's a small world after all, carol burnett, todo tiene su final, héctor lavoe, la muerte, harry belafonte, hell, squirrel nut zippers, mañana iguana, willie colón, so long, music, meme, 30 days of songs
