Responding with feminism
Before I start this entry, I'd like to clear up what feminism actually means. Because I'm pretty sure there is a fair amount of people here that may not know exactly what the feminist movement is about, or have gotten a completely different image of what it is until now. I have a friend who is upset with me right now. At least she expressed that to one of our other friends during Thanksgiving break. Her and I used to work together back during our coffee shop days. Never did I think things would end up like this.
Never did I think my dad could still control me like this, despite him not in my life and not having seen him in 2 years.
Never did I think I'd be quitting school when I'm a semester or two away from graduating.
Never did I think I'd be putting my dream of living in Japan on hold for an indefinite amount of time.

a thought
Not that I'm that old, and not that there's nothing wrong with being old/older, but I'm really glad that at 23 I'm as positive as I am, and that everything still pulls at my heartstrings.
