Reason For Apping: The app that got in for Kaza was a reapp. I have always loved Lawful Drug since the first book was release in Japan. It has been an addiction for almost a decade now. I think I'm pretty well hooked for life. He was also going to be my last app into camp if he got voted out again. I loved camp, but at the time, I wasn't in it, and not being in it and still loving it was hard. And... and he's so adorable and fluffy and flaily and perfect and I love being able to throw him at anyone ever and having it be awesome and always having something to react to. He's my baby :|b

Reason For Apping: Originally I was dead set on apping Pell. I wanted him so badly, largely for his interactions with Cal because they've got such an interesting dynamic, but... I fail at Pell's voice. I didn't get him, couldn't get him, and still largely am clueless. But, I caught myself rereading the Ferelithia section and realizing I wasn't reading it for Pell, I was reading it for Rue. And then I started bugging Cal's player about where could I find more about Rue, which was a depressingly small amount, but he was so fabulous and just... out there with everything that he was. I loved it, and I had to have it. The hardest part of his app was making him sound different from Cal in just a few paragraphs when they're constantly compared in canon. My baby number 2 ^___^;
Select Option 3? Nothing will ever EVER top RueKimi. It is truly one of the most amazing things to happen to any of my characters, and probably nothing will ever top it.

Reason For Apping: True facts: Shikamaru was the first character I considered apping when Box first told me about camp. Problem was, there was already a Shikamaru in camp. So I apped some others, got Kaza in, got Rue in, enjoyed and loved them and almost forgot about Shikamaru. Well, somewhere around Rue's app the previous Shika idled out, but I was busy loving Rue too much to notice. Then I went to Acen, and ended up buying a ton of Shika stuff from the dealers room, the time skip had just happened giving me a little bit of canon (and hope) for him showing up more and where he was headed. And... I finally remembered that the previous player had dropped him... and he was my omigod baby... and there was really no reason I shouldn't app him... so... I ended up starting the app 4 hours after the round opened, barely squeaking it in with Captain's help. The rest, as they say, is history.
Select Option 3? I dunno. It's a total toss up between his kissing Anko to cure his gender switch and their on going attempts to top each other or his friendship with Mika. I love both. One will tickle me forever, the other just makes me so happy.

Reason For Apping: Roxy is about as close as I can get to apping my childhood. I was a HUGE fan of Gen13 when I was in middle school/high school, and Roxy has always been my favorite character. She has such a wildly different voice from any of my other characters that it's really easy to separate it from everyone else too. True facts: Roxy was actually on hold for me since February 2006; yep, she was the one who was supposed to get apped in the round I got Shika in. I held onto her for a long time before I finally sucked it up and threw her app together. She's been my closest In so far, and I was already gearing up to write her reapp when the voting round closed, squeaking her in by the skin of her teeth.
Select Option 3? I think she's been my only In from Buffy... ever. I didn't even realize. Also, I really enjoyed the concrit from her App round. It was really nice to have such support from people.

Reason For Apping: This was the app that was supposed to be someone else until I completely topped myself into apping Ziva while trying to get others to app from NCIS. I still haven't managed to get others to app from NCIS, but I love Ziva so much. I marathoned 2 seasons of NCIS in a week and a half, and the app was probably one of the most obvious ever if only because I didn't comment on it. Hahah oh fail me.

Reason For Apping: The app that almost never happened. I had been bleh about Air Gear since Kazu and Agito got in. I had seen the pimp posts, I even downloaded the first 6 chapters, but I was pretty meh about the series. And then I got bored, so I read what I had and pestered Box to find me more to download, and then I read that after a while. And somewhere along the way, I just... kind of fell madly in love with Spitfire. Probably about the time we got to see him at his day job |D;; He was so awesome and just amazingly perfect, and I loved the AI and somehow Oh!Great managed to suck me into his world and I really wanted him, but I had JUST gotten Ziva in, and I was still struggling to get her settled into camp so I was wavery and in the process of talking myself into waiting one more app round when someone mentioned that there might be another Spitfire apper. And I panicked, started crying at the thought of not having him, and eventually calmed down enough to write his app. It's the first app I've ever had to include spoiler tags in. I couldn't figure out how to get around it, when the spoilers were part of why I loved him so hard.
Select Option 3? I still feel guilty about how insanely he has over shadowed Ziva's play. He's incredibly easy to socialize with, and I love his relationships, but yeah, I guilt... every time I look at their numbers. I wouldn't give him up for the world though. So much love.

Thankfully i finally wibbled myself into apping him anyway because I still don't have any canon for him TYL and I love having him so much.

I read almost the entire series at work -- probably not my best decision, but I was hopelessly addicted to it from the first moments, which works because I still am.

Reason For Apping: I had been considering this app for months, but thanks to school being a hor, I was having some major troubles getting anything started with it. Then volume 4 came out, and another character I wanted got apped when I was completely incapable of rubbing two braincells together, and I wanted this tiny bitchy thing that was Akira. It did not take too much for me to work myself up to this. The canon's so amazingly well done, and the relationships in it are so incredible. I got that burning need to just... have him... more than anything.
