Today Zena the chicken went decidedly broody (she wants to hatch eggs). Since she is the only chicken that is laying eggs, this is not going to be allowed. We kept throwing her out of the nestbox and now she's pissed at everybody. I've now read the directions for 'breaking a broody'. Tomorrow promises excitement ( Read more... )
