Some AIM Bot/Scammer has been sending me messages. I do not know this person and do not want some unidentified stranger calling me "sexy" at work. Does anyone know how this scam works? I occasionally like to sift through the raw data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics myself rather than merely trust other interpretations of the data. Much of what gets reported is monthly and has a huge random variance from month to month. I sometimes like comparing things to a year ago (*). So, the multi-CD player in my car seems to have broken. I can't play or eject. I imagine something jammed while changing CDs. If I could get it apart, I could probably remove things manually, but the device seems designed to make this difficult. I'm not actually sure what to do, so I'm asking LiveJournal.

Any ideas?
