I start new classes on Monday, so I did a bunch of reading today. I'm taking two classes this quarter, but I'm finally done with core classes and am finally taking web design classes. My fiance and I have done this Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred video the past 2 days. Amazing how 20 minutes of intense cross-training can make my muscles this sore! I take it that the fact that I can't stand up out of a chair on my own means it's working.

I made a ring today using sheet copper, copper foil, and some cabochon I'd purchased years ago when I took a silversmithing class. The teacher was really negative, and I just didn't enjoy her teaching style, so I was a silversmith class dropout. I purchased these things in bulk, so I'm glad I finally found a use for them.

This little guy is so cute! I saw the Hey Jude home video he did a few months ago, then just came across this video. I especially love the part where he names off all the Beatles, then he seems to kind of point to himself as if he's saying he's the fifth member of the group or something.

Woke up this morning and realized that I packed all 7 combs/brushes we own. With no forks around, either, I used my fingers as a comb and put my hair in a ponytail.

Koda hates me when I make him take a bath.

I made some ornaments tonight. The adults in my family decided that we weren't exchanging gifts this year, but I plan on making a few exceptions to the rules and giving something to my sisters and parents. And one aunt. The snowmen are for my mom and aunt. They feel a little on the "cute" side, but I know they'll fit in with both of their styles.

I have a massage tomorrow morning at 9:00. I got the massage as a birthday present from my family, in July, and have been saving it until after the race. My muscles are still just a bit sore, so I'm looking forward to it.  I've never had a massage before in my life, so I'm not quite sure what to expect.  Trying not to be nervous about the unknown, ( Read more... )
