I'm still processing my SVU "Doubt"s. I didn't hate it as much as my fellow TWoPers, which makes me feel funny inside. But I certainly didn't love it, either. I think I was mostly relieved that Stabler wasn't completely humiliated. I'll have to wait to form an objective opinion. It's certainly not the worst episode I've ever seen. I found this story on Recs Judicata, an L&O site that I don't think has ever posted a fic with a version of Stabler that I've found palatable. This one is well-written. It's introduced as an examination of the complicated layers of partnership. But I don't see that.
