I took Dustin for a short hike today, nothing major, just an hour in the woods.  It was good to get out of the house/neighborhood/urban-ness.  He had a good time marking every single vertical object in the nature preserve as his.  I hung out and was amazed that the weather was so pleasingly not sweltering ( Read more... )

• Bruce is home! and happily eating boiled chicken
• Tenth anniversary was Friday --we went to see HBP
• Baby is kicking away
• The three acceptance-contract-edit-authorbio things from the last couple of weeks are sorted out
• Wanda went to visit at a nursing home and behaved herself admirably though shyly

Bruce went to the emergency clinic for the night last night; we picked him up and took him over, and I took him back to the regular vet this morning.  He was showing tremors, which our regular vets were concerned might be the onset of distemper (you know, the other primary ingredient in the vaccine that's supposed to have prevented him from getting ( Read more... )
