Thanks to the responses to the last post I now know that I am in good company in respect to x-mas music driving me batty. Well gang, at least we only have a few more days of dealing with it.

Overheard when while getting a haircut today: Jingle Bell Rock into Kanye West's Gold Digger. I have no idea what radio station it was on.

As a side note, whenever I hear the Jingle Bell Rock my urge to kill rises.

I have not had much to add for the whole "what I've learned" thing in the past few days. I have had a number of reminders as to just how un-fun living in New England can be during winter. What I learned today (technically yesterday):

The new carpet they installed in the hallways at work really messes with my depth perception. The pattern is basically a bunch of small squares close together. What I learned today:

The new tires I recently had installed on my car are much better on the snow and ice then the old ones. However both sets of tires have far more traction then the shoes I wore this morning.
