I saw an interview with Jacki Chan on tv (the martial artist/film-star) and the conversation come around to what food he likes. When asked if he liked chocolate he turned his nose up, and said "no" with further facial expressions of dislike.
When asked why not, he simple said “it makes me fat.”

and be my true-self and thats about 168 lbs

day seven of counting calories and I'm 3 lb lighter, actually I'm 3 and a half pounds lighter, but I won't count that. I'm feeling better from just losing these few pounds:)

I am going to lose 28lb and go from 196lbs to 168lb. I'm also breaking it down into carbs, fat, and protein and I'm starting to think that I haven't been getting enough protein ( Read more... )

Yoga Today gives free Yoga instruction. I really enjoyed this session. I think I will be a regular at Yoga Today once more. I did do their workouts a while ago, but stoped because the videos where jumpy, this one flowed perfecty and I love it :)

the headquarters of the mind is in the brain, and it is well known that certain oils (omega 3 and 6) are beneficial to the brain so it makes sense to say that a complete absence of them would be detrimental to the mind. “We are what we eat” as the saying goes ( Read more... )
