Sorry for the random question, but for the Mawaru Penguindrum BD, which volume would you say has the best extras (other than the first one)? I only have the money to purchase at most ...3. Also, what are the 12-page booklets like? Are they just genga?

Being asked to decide which volume has the best is a bit hard for me. I love them all. ^^; lol

Let's see... the booklets are mostly genga, but not all. I'll just list them:

Vol.2 - Lily Hoshino's character drafts
Vol.3 - Coloured background collection
Vol.4 - Crystal World setting details
Vol.5 - Genga of sexy Ringo shots
Vol.6 - Genga collection of a certain animator (Can't read the name. Sorry >_<)
Vol.7 - Triple H genga
Vol.8 - Famous scenes genga

I'd say the best way to decide which ones to buy would be to ask yourself which volumes have the most combinations of cover art, music CD, endcards and booklet you like.

There's also a rumour that a US licensor has Penguindrum, so if you would prefer that you could try waiting to see if it's true.

Also, I will be putting up a review post of all 8 volumes sometime this week, so you could always check back and see if it helps you decide.
