A fond memory.
It snowed last night and the landscape looks sooo beautiful--but I can't go skiing right now, for several reasons... One of which is posted here. Not too much sympathy, please--I'm healing great.
Did I mention I can't go skiing? Sigh. So I sated myself today by writing out a fond memory... a favorite daydream. Here it is:

A Gardener Shows Off
Four summers ago, my sister and I planted cactus & succulent gardens as a fun "art project" to do together. Since these plants are not cold tolerant, I have to bring the pots indoors every winter. This is a pain, of course, and the plants look gloomy during that time, but it's all worth it when it comes to this:
