It took a while to work out the techno-kinks, but we've finally got a home phone, internet, and TV going. In Pittsburgh we had our TiVo satellite dish, Verizon FIOS internet, and Vonage phone and thought we'd just be able to transfer everything. graduations
B had her Pre-K graduation last night. It was utterly adorable. If you have no little ones running around and therefore have no need to attend such a function, I highly recommend you attend one anyway. it was such a hoot! B just had a long crying fit because she doesn't want to leave her pre-kindergarten teacher Miss Ellen. She loves Miss Ellen. Adores her. And the idea of getting a new teacher for kindergarten is making her inconsolable. I'm totally out of my element here. I'm ill. Very, very ill. I'm one of those people who didn't develop allergies until I became an adult, so I haven't had a lifetime of learning to assimilate and dealing with them. trip to Kennywood, J's vocabulary, and B's quirkiness
Yesterday, D and I loaded the kids into the car and went to Kennywood! They just opened the park over the weekend, and it was a nice if somewhat cold day, but we had a really good time. have been busy and offline thanks to Verizon DSL and an intermittent connection, but which is now finally resolved. Thank God. Even though I'm not online every day, it's still nice knowing that I *could* be if I wanted to. Kind of like the anxiety when my car is in the shop.
