As people who knew me as a kid probably know, I've had a hard time dealing with "people" over the years. By that I mean people that I don't really know or have much in common with, especially in groups. Well, once again there's a bit of catching up to do. Spring semester is over and now I'm working for the summer full-time. Thanks to the New Orleans trip I had to really rush at the end, and I managed to get two term projects done in two weeks, which I think must be some kinda record, for me anyway. So, we're all back from our week helping out in New Orleans. While we were down there, we worked on 5 different homes, all of which had already been worked on before. I'm going to be heading down to New Orleans for a week starting Sunday. I'll with a group of 9 from my church volunteering to do cleanup work down there, part of a large effort by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
