Reverse engineering
The repair guys should be here any moment to replace the heater/blower in the downstairs fur-down (it died recently). I'm going to watch them like a hawk so that i can relpace the (identical) upstairs unit by myself when that unenviable time comes. Cold day in Tigertown
Ugh. The downstairs heating unit (which is also the blower for the downstairs AC) is dead. Its been blowing cold air for a few days now. World of WOW redux
Yesterday I started playing World of Warcraft again. I last played WOW over a year and a half ago in June, and that was just a trial of the latest update (The Burning Crusade). HOLIDAY EATING TIPS
- Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.

Have I mentioned that I am SUPREMELY unhappy with the continuity-wide story arcs going on in both DC and Marvel comics this year? Movie goodness
Last week I began a subscription to Netflix. I started at a mid-level plan that allows me one DVD at a time, but more importantly, unlimited steaming. I can stream from their (admittedly small) library to both my high-definition iMac and Xbox. Lots of anime and BBC series available. Woot!
