God is love with the occasional impulse of hatred for something evil. God is not hatred with occasional gracious love.

I think the Holy Spirit and the fear of God in us christians make sure that for the very most of the time we achieve the minimum of what God wants to see in us. We are saved. Today I had a long talk with Mom. I came downstairs and asked how she was and she said she has lot's of worries. You see, my dad had built a big garden around our house and now my mother says she needs to keep it to honor my dad. But it means a lot of work for her. One of the biggest mistakes of the modern world is to think of harmlessness as something weak and bad.

Last night I was struggling with the devil again. Just couldn't shake it. At some point it got really perverse and then I suddenly felt like a rush and heard a strong voice say "I hate you satan, and I want you to know that!". 4th week of the diet has passed. I lost another 3 kilos. 11 more to go.

Somehow it helps to fast because you get acquainted with the notion that a human shouldn't always get his will and needs to push back his appetites and desires.

Since I know Indira I have always felt that I don't really notice other people very well anymore. I always presume there is so much depth and knowing in that woman that I don't see the same depth and knowing in other people. Sometimes when I am deep in that it's like only me and her exist. I think in my past I tried too hard to be a good little Adam. But my inward Adam needs to be subdued. I am a new creation. Entirely new things wait for me. I need to follow God's salvation in my life, and put the dreaming away and replace them with zeal for good works and such.
