So, had a meeting with advisor today. I think I impressed him the other night by emailing him with a list of thoughts regarding how and when to get the heck outta here :p. Several times in the past week when i walk outside my door an (apparently stray) cat is sitting outside, mewing at me. And it likes sitting in the chair that i sit on when i go outside with the laptop. Today it even tried to rub up against my leg. I don't see any tags, but it's fully grown. I'm up in north Texas, so in about 2-3 hours we'll be feeling the effects of the storm. The reports are that we should be mostly fine (30-50 mph winds with gusts to 60 and 1-4 inches of rain). On my left foot I've had arch pain on and off while walking for a long time now. Today's been one of the worst days, and looking some stuff up I think I may have plantar fascitis, but I wanted to know if anyone had ever had that or similar stuff. The United States, in its capital, has many, many memorials. Some, like the Vietnam memorial, were controversial at the time but have since grown to be iconic.

What I was unaware of was that there is a small World War one memorial.
