I don't know why, but the concept of FlashLARP appeals to me. I made my first dumplings ever today. New Years Sweet Dumplings. Not bad, but also not great. I consider this to be practice. Next time I try harder to get the stuff round and not leak black bean goo all over the pot.

I also finally caught up with LJ after not reading while up in Whitby.

One day, many years ago (when I was like 16 or 17) something happend and I could not longer bend the joint in my left thumb fully. I have no idea what did it -- maybe I just got my hand in a funny position, or... Wow. My wife is so young that she doesn't know what UHF is and didn't recall that there were two dials on the TV when growing up.

Ok, she did remember the two dials when pressed, but did not realise what they were for.
