Despite my desire for a proper washing (or rather, drying) day, I love this rain. Ayla and I will go for a walk by the river in a few hours. There will only be a few people out, but the birds will be there - herons, seagulls, ibis, cormorants, maybe a spoonbill if we're lucky. I just realised my euphoria is due to this being a pain free day. House mate wanted
In case you don't know already, there is a room going in our Marrickville house. It's medium size, and rent is $100 per week. We have a garden, wireless internet and pomegranates on our lounge room ceiling. The room will be free from the 24th of April.
