I told Karen I was going to visit her when she is in Spain. GoogleMaps was happy enough to provide me with a way to get there. Might have to take a couple of months off of work, though. Of course, GoogleMaps always does inflate times, assuming that you'll follow the speed limit.

I saw "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" with my sister and her husband this weekend. I would give it a C-, with the feeling that I am being generous. A central idea in the books is that humans on another world have daemons - parts of themselves (a conscience / soul, kind of) that exist outside of their bodies.
