Yesterday
Yesterday was sunny and 14 degrees C (that is approximately 57 F). Unbelievable. I opened the windows for the first time since fall. I spray painted something things out on the deck (Krylon Fusion does adhere to everything...especially skin), and re-covered the seats of two of the four kitchen chairs. Hopefully, I will get the other two done today.

So, I thought as a surprise, I'd do a little mini-makeover on Lauren's room while she's gone. Since she loves animals, I thought perhaps jungle. Had a long post written and this stupid laptop selected something weird (HATE this trackpad) and my post was gone. LJ didn't save any of it. GRRRR. -
Lead
So, today I read a professor found high levels of lead in plastic easter eggs and other easter toys at Hobby Lobby. Uh, great. Who knows what else and where else this contaminated crap is being sold? Do I dare trust that the plastic eggs I picked up at Michaels are fine? Everything is made in China, and only a tiny fraction of things on the market ( Read more... )
