Cotton/Polyester as a core

I have some scraps from sweatpants made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. Has anyone used material like this for inside the pad? It seems absorbent enough, and I already have a the scraps. Is it worth a shot?

Can anyone tell me how using cloth affected them in this way? Especially if you have PCOS (me, here) or endrometriosis, or the like.

I'm switching regardless (still in-progress of making a few to try), but I want to know if it has happened for anyone or anyone they know, too.

We were talking the other day, about using natural material, and how sad that we couldn't find any natural products for waterproofing.
While not natural, it seems that PUL would be a better alternative, at least if I understand this right it seems to be degradable. It's about the Snappi diaper fastener which is made from polyurethane, and I am ( Read more... )
