So finally broke down and had a pizza the other day. In fact my favorite from stephanno's with bolognaise sauce, ricotta, and all the normal toppings. It was not horrible. Made it through the Whole 30 challenge. With some minor cheating. The Bourbon Red Velvet cupcakes were a must, and there were some other slips along the way, but I did make an honest effort at changing the way I eat. And I did change the way I eat. day 9 over all this diet is easier to stay on than most. We had chicken fajitas last night, with lettuce wraps instead of tortilla. It was still damn tasty, and if the temptation for cheese and sour cream was strong, it was overcome by the fact that I see positive results every day.

day 8

Diet is still working... Put on a little over the weekend but then we took Jens parents to Texas De Brazil for M-day and ate till stuffed. We also took her to the range. That was fun, got to shoot a 9mm for the first time, and Goddamn that 30-30 is still a beast. All in all a good weekend.

day 6 I'm not so ravenous as the last few days. I ate less yesterday as well. I still eat a lot more than it feels like I should. But I am still losing weight every day. Day 5, starting to get into a rhythm with this diet. Slipped a little last night with an egg roll, but that's not too bad. Spinach Kim Chee was the shit though. Drinks are hard, with only tea or water, but I'm getting used to that as well. I really wanted a drink last night though. Bourbon, rocks a splash of water would have been a beautiful

day 4, I was starving all day yesterday, it wasn't a lack of food, but a lack of something else. According to Jen I need to eat more fat. That may be it. I tend to think it was sugar, as a can of pineapple seemed to help. Coconut milk might have been better, but I didn't have any. This is a harder diet to stay on than others I've tried.
