The culture I grew up in was largely christian, the education system full of artefacts of that tradition and many reference points which hold us together as a society. Righty, this is a good one and it's going up. I've been reading Ken Wilber's 'Sex, Ecology, Spirituality' and it's making rather more sense than a year or so ago when I first attempted it. He is building a flexible theoretical approach with the intention that it be flexible enough to use in any domain of theory, to find what common ground there ( Read more... )

have started using pandora, internet radio station with a profiling and recommendation system.  it's been pretty bloody good so far.  some lovely stuff turned up.  have a look at www.pandora.com if you like music at all...

Than's just linked up a wireless keyboard and a MAX/MSP sampler and is wandering round the flat triggering samples in the kitchen.  aah, technology.
