Thus far, nobody who voted in my poll thinks that government officials are more trustworthy than sex workers. Despite my small sample size, this leads me to one of three conclusions:
There is massive cynicism on my flist and no love for government officials.

Given a recent poll in China that shows the respondants found sex workers more trustworthy than their government, I wanted to do an unscientific poll of my readers:
Some of me almost thinks that this rumor was perpetuated herself to keep herself in the spotlight and make the mainstream media look like rags. Still, this one will be fun to watch... *munches popcorn*
So these two guys came to the door asking for Spanish speaking people. Given that I really don't have any friends in the complex (although all are pretty friendly), I told them that I didn't know which of them spoke Spanish. I mention the 80s Cartoon Jem (Complete with saying, "It's showtime Synergy!") and immediately Jan wants to play Final Fantasy X-2 again, an rpg in which the main character's primary powers are changing clothes. I'm amused.
Apparently it is unusual that I can name all nine justices on the Supreme Court, who appointed them, and which way they lean. Just read that less than half of the people could even say how many justices we have
