My frustration at not having internet at home reached new heights last night, plus we took the text messaging package off my phone that I had gotten used to having, which I didn't realize would make my phone completely incapable of receiving or sending them. I never post here anymore, largely due to not having internet at home...
I had a bizarre dream the other night that was almost a nightmare - I had to turn the light on when I woke up - but it wasn't that scary and I couldn't figure out why I was so freaked out when I woke up. The only part I can remember is that I was driving toward's Derik's house ( Read more... ) -

Last night I had a dream that I was going to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert but my jaw was broken and a couple of my teeth were cracked in half (can't remember how that happened), so I tried to go to the ER. car insurance
Does anyone have experience with comparison-shopping for car insurance? I checked out a couple of online "get a quote now" kinds of things but I don't know how much I trust those. I think we're paying too much though, and it'd be nice not to be wasting money right now with the whole potential imminent layoff situation. -
English, school, jorbs
Now that it's 2009 and the end of my AmeriCorps term doesn't seem so far away anymore, I've started thinking about grad school again. It's going to be an interesting month because of Josh's job situation; his hours have already been cut and his company is announcing layoffs on the 19th. We looked up free things to do in Louisville Saturday afternoon, as we had a few hours to kill before the reception dinner (which was maybe the fanciest dinner I've ever been to), and AJ discovered that we were staying only a few miles from the cemetery where THE Colonel Sanders is buried.
