I am writing a Trek fic with bible verses because I had some bright spark of an idea about how religious fundamentalists would feel about human/klingon (or really human/anything else) relationships.

This is something that pops into my mind from time to time-

If men telling women that they are 'bad' women if they don't wax their legs/diet/have babies/wear traditionally feminine apparel etc is sexism, isn't women telling women that they are 'bad' women if they do engage in the above activities sexism as well?

So that I could have something mildly constructive to do with my time, I signed up to Femslash 09 as a writer and I'm terrified. It is the middle of the night, I'm supposed to be at uni in seven and a half hours, and I just felt the need to mention how much I adore Worf.

I have so many people on facebook who I only soooooooooort of know and they write things and I want to comment on them but then I'm like "no, I'm not one of this person's actual friends so that would just be weird, wouldn't it?" and then I can't decide whether I'm being polite or introverted.
