If Christianity teaches selflessness, why is there a Heaven? Using Heaven as an incentive to do good things or be a good person turns every act into a selfish act. Controlling your own emotions is hard. There is no "appropriate" time to try and balance the playing field after an audition. I just have to stand there and let peoples comments pick at me - I respond by smiling and going on with the conversation. Has anyone else been in this situation? Sleeping is good. I slept on my thoughts and finally accept everything. I know I aced my audition, but I could have done my interview so much better. I didn't show much maturity at all, which is a key trait in any leadership position. I didn't get any leadership position for next year. I wish I did, but its not gonna be that bad. I'm gonna talk to Prof. Bush as a follow up to the audition. I'd like to know what I can improve on. I do have admit that I'm taking this harder than I let on.
