For the past six months I've had pain in my knees that had hampered my running. Sometimes it seems to be improving, sometimes it seems to get worse. So I'm bundling my way onto a to a busy train, with a rucksack, jacket and a rolled up suit bag. I guessed the wrong end of the carriage to come in at, finding that my reserved seat is at the other end. So I have to squeeze past other people and get in there way, before finding my way to my seat, which is opposite a bald man who looks about 60.

My placement is going so much better than I thought it would be. But then, I was expecting evil little monsters who were going to shower me with hostility. Heh! Well, I'm a pessimist. The worst I got was this sweet, angelic kid going:
