What to do?
I need some excitement, something different. Everything seems stale and annoyingly the same. A bored Aries is trouble waiting to happen. I know Burning Man is coming up, but that's still a month away. I am trouble waiting to happen. -
Making babies is harder than I thought
I've been changing my eating habits, not drinking (not that I did much anyway), have quit smoking (still a fierce daily struggle), have been really good about taking my prenatal vitamins *every* day and am trying to learn all I can about pregnancy and what I should be doing before we get there. 100 acre woods visit
So, we went for a visit to the 100 Acre Woods this weekend. It is an awesome place. It's just outside of Manor. This *could* be a great place to hold Flipside. It's in no way ready now, but 5 or 6 work weekends, a lot more hands than we usually get for a work weekend, two bobcats, two chippers and some tidying up would make a huge difference ( Read more... ) -
Day three - nicotine free!
I'm so loving this. I seem to be evening out on the meds (Chantix) and I'm sleeping better (having all sorts of crazy dreams that I remember) and feeling clean. I mean really clean. Smoking always felt so dirty. I can't remember the last time I didn't have something good smelling to spray on me and some wet wipes to clean the smoke off my hands ( Read more... ) -
Day 4
I'm so full of rage today. I've literally been shaking since I left the house this morning. I want to destroy everything in sight, ram into slow/annoying drivers and generally fuck shit up for no good reason. I hope this goes away soon or I'm going to destroy something important. Starting Chantix today
I took my first pill this morning. Chantix is a quit smoking medicine. Basically, it works by blocking nicotine from attaching to your brain receptors. Baking triumph!
For a number of years now, I've baked. Cakes, cookies, candies, you name it, but never any french desserts.
