A web site hosted a re-cut contest to see what people could produce if they took a movie, set it in another genre, and edited a new trailer for it using clips from the movie. I found out tonight that my grandfather died. Two years ago. And we were not notified until tonight. I didn’t know him, as my father hated him and my mother had tired of trying to include him in the family, as he was an unreliable, temperamental alcoholic for most of his life. I am annoyed at the nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.
